Patrick (Pat) O’Connor Mullinarinka Tipperary, Ireland-Death: Beloved Clonmel Father and Grandfather Patrick O’Connor Passes Away

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Patrick (Pat) O’Connor of Mullinarinka, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Pat passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan, and his brothers Eamon, Jack, and Tommy.

Pat was a devoted father to Paul, Kevin, Sharon, Marie, and Jean, and a cherished grandfather to Eoin, Darragh, Aaron, Claire, Eimear, Sarah, Rian, Kate, and Niamh. He is also survived by his brothers Jim, Mikey, and Philly, his sister Margaret (Furnell), his sons-in-law Eric, daughters-in-law Michele and Brenda, as well as nephews, nieces, extended family, and countless friends who will deeply miss him. Pat’s warmth, generosity, and steadfast love for his family and community touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A respected and admired figure in Clonmel, Pat will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to family, and the quiet strength with which he approached life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who were inspired by his generosity and caring nature.

Pat will repose at Moyle Rovers Monroe Sports Complex, Clonmel (E91 PN29) on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral cortege will proceed on Saturday to St. John the Baptist Church, Powerstown, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed live via the Powerstown Facebook Page. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family has requested donations in Pat’s memory be made to the South Tipperary Hospice Movement, and family flowers only.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the O’Connor family during this time of mourning. May Pat’s soul rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the enduring legacy of love, guidance, and devotion he leaves behind. His presence in Clonmel and the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
