Daniel first rose to prominence at Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he established himself as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the state’s history. A four-time Virginia High School State Champion, he amassed an extraordinary record of 182 career wins. His senior year stands as a testament to his excellence, highlighted by victories at the Ironman Championship, Beast of the East, and NHSCA Senior National Championship. These achievements solidified his place among the elite wrestlers of his generation.
He continued his success at Oklahoma State University, one of the nation’s premier wrestling programs. Competing at the highest collegiate level, Daniel earned NCAA Division I All-American honors in 2005, finishing fourth at 141 pounds. Known for his technical mastery and relentless competitive spirit, he was widely respected for his skill, discipline, and determination on the mat. His signature techniques and strategic approach made him a formidable opponent and a student of the sport.
Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Daniel was a dedicated educator, coach, and mentor. As a biology teacher and leader within Frishkorn Wrestling Camps, LLC, he invested deeply in the growth and development of young athletes.
