It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Lambros, a dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and Godfather, who departed this life peacefully on Sunday, 22nd March 2026.
George was a man of deep devotion to his family, whose presence brought strength, warmth, and unity to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. As a husband, he was a constant source of support and companionship; as a father and grandfather, he provided guidance, wisdom, and unconditional love that will continue to live on in the lives of his family.
Beyond his immediate family, George’s influence extended to a wide circle of relatives and friends who were touched by his sincerity, humility, and caring spirit. He carried himself with quiet dignity and was always willing to lend a helping hand, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and integrity.
A funeral service to celebrate George’s life will be held at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, Kingsford, on Tuesday, 31st March 2026 at 11:30 a.m. Following the service, the committal will take place at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, Matraville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made at the church in support of the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation, continuing his spirit of generosity and care for others.
