It is with profound sorrow that we extend our heartfelt condolences and pay tribute to the life of Nicole Kosmynka, a beloved member of the Airdrie, Alberta community and a valued part of the Fen Vet family. Nicole’s passing this past weekend, following a sudden and devastating medical event, has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family, colleagues, clients, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Nicole was widely regarded as the heart of Fen Vet, exemplifying compassion, dedication, and quiet strength in every aspect of her work. For her, veterinary care was not simply a profession but a true calling. She approached each day with empathy and sincerity, offering comfort and reassurance to pet owners during some of their most difficult moments. Her ability to connect with others, both human and animal, made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Her love for animals was evident in all that she did. Nicole believed deeply in treating every animal with kindness, dignity, and respect, and she carried that belief into every interaction. Her calm and gentle presence created an atmosphere of trust, allowing both pets and their families to feel safe and supported.
Beyond her professional life, Nicole was a devoted wife, mother, and cherished loved one. We extend our deepest sympathies to her husband, Jeff, her daughter, Delia, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss.
As we remember Nicole, we honor a life defined by kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
