Lucy served with distinction as a Combat Medical Technician and Physical Training Instructor in the Royal Army Medical Service, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew her. Her passing was officially confirmed by the Ministry of Defence.
Lucy enlisted in March 2018 and began her service with 5 Medical Regiment, including a deployment to Cyprus. She later joined the Welsh Guards and was promoted to Corporal in 2023. In early 2026, she transferred to the Royal Yorkshire Regiment. Throughout her career, she demonstrated unwavering dedication, professionalism, and courage in all assignments. Lucy’s composure during a mass casualty incident in the Falklands highlighted her remarkable strength and commitment to others.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lucy was celebrated for her positivity, kindness, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. Her social media presence (@lucywildefit on TikTok) inspired thousands, showcasing her fitness journey, her life in the Army, and her joyful spirit. Her brother described her as “strength wrapped in softness,” capturing the essence of her character.
